NUTRITION and Vital functions

Hello families/kids

we are learning about the VITAL FUNCTIONS. Those are: NUTRITION, REPRODUCTION and INTERACTION.

VITAL FUNCTIONS

1. NUTRITION: We eat and drink.
2. REPRODUCTION:  We have babies
3. INTERACTION: We communicate with our surrounding

Here you will find a pair of nice videos that will help you to understand the nutrition

NUTRITION
1. Humans need food for nutrients. This is the NUTRITION. The DIGESTIVE SYSTEM is involved in this process.

The DIGESTIVE SYSTEM is made of organs which work together to break down food and turn it into ENERGY that help our body to work and grow.

The DIGESTIVE SYSTEM consists of:
- Mouth: The teeth chew fhe food and the tongue mixes it with saliva.
- Esophagus: The food goes down a long tube called ESOPHAGUS on its way to the STOMACH.
-Stomach: It is like  a "bag" where the food goes from the ESOPHAGUS
- Intestine: The food goes to our intestine where the nutrients pass into the blood.
