Balanced diet

Our diet is the food and drink that we consume every day. For staying strong and healthy, we need many different types of nutrients. Eating a balanced diet is the best way to do this. A balanced diet contains proteins, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats and, of course, water.

ENGLISH THIRD GRADE B

Yesterday you could watch an introductory video about the IRREGULAR VERBS in English. We are going a bit deeper today. Look at this : 
Ayer visteis un vídeo introductorio sobre los verbos irregulares en inglés. Vamos a profundizar un poco hoy. Fijaos en esta tabla y seguid leyendo. Leed los ejemplos y la explicación. Después intentad hacer el ejercicio.

Look at these examples: 

I have a black car nowadays. Yo tengo un coche negro actualmente

I had a red car two years ago. Yo tenía un coche rojo hace dos años

They go to school by car. Ellos van al colegio en coche

They went to the beach last summer. Ellos fueron a la playa el año pasado

I do my homework in a computer. Yo hago mis deberes en el ordenador. 

I did  a research about Ancient History. Yo hice una búsqueda de información sobre la Historia Antigua

She eats bread everyday. Ella come pan todos los días. 

She ate pasta yesterday. Ella comió pasta ayer

As you can see in the examples, we change the verbs in present (pink underlined ones) by their form in the past (blue underlined ones) In order to do so, we need to know by heart the past form of the verb. 

Como podéis ver en los ejemplos, cambiamos la forma verbal en presente (rosa subrayada) por su forma en pasado (azul subrayada). Para poder hacerlo, necesitamos aprendernos las formas de pasado de los verbos irregulares. Hasta que llegue ese punto, utilizaremos tablas como la de arriba a modo de chuleta. 

Taking this into account try to write these sentences in the past. They are all IRREGULAR VERBS that you can see in the explanation. Teniendo en cuenta esta explicación, intenta escribir las siguientes frases en su forma de pasado. Todas están hechas con verbos irregulares que puedes mirar en la explicación. 

ACTIVITY 1. 

Change these sentences from present to past as in the example: 

Example:  I wear a white dress to school------ I wore a white dress to school. 

1. I have a white dog. ---- 

2. She goes to school by bike

3. You eat your meal very fast

4. They drink cold water

5. We see your mother at the shop.

How is everything going?  I hope you are all ok. Today is Thursday so I have English and Science with THIRD GRADE B and English with THIRD GRADE A.
¿Cómo va todo? Espero que estéis todos bien. Hoy es jueves así que tengo inglés y ciencias con TERCERO B e Inglés con TERCERO A. 

Let's start with

ENGLISH THIRD GRADE A

We are going to review a little of grammar and also introduce a very special part of the past tense. It is related to the IRREGULAR VERBS. 
Up to now, we learnt how to turn REGULAR VERBS from present to past. Now, it gets a little more complicated. Instead of just adding "ed" at the end of the verb, the irregular verbs have different words for different tenses. 
This video is just an introduction. Check it out a couple of times. This will probably generate many doubts. That is great because we will solve them in the videoconferences. 

Vamos a revisar un poco de gramática y también a introducir una parte especial del PASADO. Esto es los VERBOS IRREGULARES. 
Hasta ahora, hemos aprendido cómo cambiar los VERBOS REGULARES del presente al pasado. En este momento, se complica un poquito. Ya no vale solo con añadir "ed" al final del verbo. Los verbos irregulares tienen formas distintas para los diferentes tiempos. 
Este vídeo es solo una introducción. Os recomiendo que lo veáis un par de veces. Generará muchas dudas, seguro. Podremos ver todas esas dudas en las video conferencias. 


ENGLISH THIRD GRADE B:

SCIENCE THIRD GRADE B:

We are starting a new and last unit. It is about FOOD. We will talk about healthy food habits and how food gives us energy.

I would like you to do a cover for this unit. You can include different types of food: vegetables, fruits, dairies, meet, fish...

Empezamos la última Unidad sobre la COMIDA. Hablaremos sobre hábitos de alimentación saludable y comidas que nos dan energía.

Me gustaría que fuérais haciendo la portada de la unidad. Podéis incluir distintos tipos de comida: verduras, frutas, lácteos, carnes y pescados.
