REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM.
The reproductive system allows us to have babies. This is part of the reproduction.
When a mummy is pregnant, there is a fetus inside her uterus.
When the fetus is in the uterus, it is fed through the umbilical cord.
The fetus spends 9 months insede its mother's uterus.
Humans are viviparous: we are born alive from our mother's womb.
Humans are mammals: we drink milk from our mother's breast when we are babies.

here you have some useful information about THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM.
THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM
Our excretory system helps us to eliminate waste substances. This is part of NUTRITION. Our excretory system consists of:
- The kidneys, which are two bean-shaped organs, clean the blood and remove waste. This waste and extra water combine to make urine, also called pee.
- The urine travels through two small tubes called ureters. They lead to the bladder.
- The bladder is a sack that holds the urine or pee.
- When the bladder is full, it pushes urine through another small tube called the urethra which carries the urine out of the body.
